This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at South African National Parks (SANParks) as an Airworthiness Specialist.

• Airworthiness and Maintenance: The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and maintenance of aircraft, including oversight of maintenance activities and documentation.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to aircraft operations under Part 127 and the upcoming Part 101.
• Safety Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits of aircraft and maintenance processes to ensure adherence to safety standards.

• Develop and Implement Safety Protocols: Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with maintenance teams and operational staff to resolve any issues affecting aircraft safety and performance.
• Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of aircraft maintenance, inspections, and repairs.

• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in aviation, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Significant experience in aircraft operations, maintenance, or a related field.
