Job Title: Network Engineer

Data Centrix is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Design and Implementation: Collaborate with other IT engineers to define and implement network solutions that meet organisational policies and requirements.
  • Network Security: Configure firewalls, manage their day-to-day operations, and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Network Management: Configure, manage, and maintain secure intra- and inter-organisational communication channels, such as VPNs and IPSec tunnels.
  • Network Troubleshooting: Participate in cross-functional troubleshooting support for internal and external clients and network fault investigations.
  • Network Performance: Maximise network performance through ongoing monitoring and optimisation.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure supporting documentation and diagrams remain up to date and that all network equipment is sufficiently secured.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies.
  • Experience with network design, implementation, and management.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
