Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine the scope of work and materials required.
  2. Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
  3. Develop bid proposals for construction projects that meet client requirements.
  4. Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely bids.
  5. Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
  6. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering solutions.
  7. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant experience in Site Construction is essential.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  3. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry.
  4. Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, or RSMeans.
  5. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  8. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  9. Professional certification (e.g. Certified Professional Estimator) is a plus.
