Internal Auditor - FMCG Opportunity

Telebest is seeking a highly skilled Internal Auditor to join our team in the FMCG space. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our internal controls and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine the scope of internal audits and develop annual plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyse and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, and flowcharts to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports that reflect the results of audits and document processes.
  • Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings to enhance business efficiency.
  • Document processes and prepare audit findings memoranda to ensure transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
  • Degree or qualification in Internal Auditing, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Proven working experience as an Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in the Retail environment.
  • Internal Audit experience in an FMCG environment of 2-5 years will be advantageous.
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Administration qualification will be advantageous if the person has such skills.
  • Pastel, Evolution, Excel, and Arch software proficiency.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
