About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Beauty Assistant in Randburg. As a key member of our beauty department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, promoting and selling beauty products, and ensuring a high standard of store presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Consult with customers, answer product-based questions, and advise on selecting the best products and services that meet their needs.
  2. Drive and maximise sales of the beauty department through effective promotion, cross-selling, and up-selling.
  3. Maintain updated knowledge on all beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events.
  4. Efficiently execute operational activities within the beauty department, including stock management, minimising shrinkage, and general housekeeping.
  5. Ensure all in-store visual merchandising, presentation, and promotional standards within the beauty department are consistently met.
  6. Deliver superior customer service by acting as a brand ambassador.

Requirements:

  1. Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
  2. Relevant beauty/skincare qualification or experience preferred.
  3. Previous experience in a retail/FMCG environment, preferably in sales or marketing.

Desirable Skills:

  • Selling principles and retail/FMCG background.
  • Stock management procedures and customer service excellence.
  • Knowledge of beauty and skincare products, results-driven, and strong customer orientation.
