Job Description:

Profile Personnel is seeking a seasoned Chief Security Strategist to lead our security team in Kariega, Eastern Cape.

As the head of security, you will be responsible for prioritizing security initiatives and spending based on risk management and financial methodology.

  • Work closely with executives to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies.
  • Oversee crisis management and participate as a key member of the Crisis Management Organisation in the event of any security disaster/emergency.
  • Collaborate with external consultants for independent security audits.
  • Assess security requirements for capital expenditures (CAPEX) and submit recommendations accordingly.
  • Verify and approve transportation invoices, evaluate utilisation, and negotiate transport requirements with the union (NUMSA).

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a tertiary qualification in Security Risk Management and a minimum of 10 years' experience in the security industry, including 5 years in a management role. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, negotiation and communication skills, and decision-making abilities.

Salary Range:

R1,200,000 - R1,500,000 per annum.
