The Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Graphic Designer to join our marketing team. As a Visual Creative Designer, you will be responsible for designing eye-catching marketing materials, including digital & print ads, social media graphics, emailers & banners, as well as ad hoc promotional materials based on internal briefs.

You will conceptualise, design, and execute in-store signage such as store windows and product graphics for ATL & BTL elements, as well as design seasonal catalogues to showcase products effectively. Brilliant design skills for layout, both print and digital, are essential for this role.

Your responsibilities will also include supporting the marketing team by providing assistance during photoshoots and events as needed, creating social media content (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & Tik Tok), basic animation (gifs, video creation editing), packaging, labels, and ad hoc creative elements.

You will conceptualise and produce fresh ideas for online /digital material and print to be shot in the in-house studio, executing against briefs and ensuring all work aligns with brand positioning & guidelines.

Additionally, you will conduct weekly competitive retail research: digital & in-store image retouching and assist with in-house printing of store marketing materials.

Requirements
  • A relevant tertiary qualification/degree in Graphic Design (with 1-2 years' work experience in a corporate or agency environment)
  • Proficient in InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator as well as any additional creative cloud suite programmes advantageous
  • After Effects and Adobe Premier Pro (advantageous)
  • Microsoft Office efficient
  • Understanding of digital and print principles i.e. Repro & Layout
  • Attention to detail (critical)
  • Understanding of social media platforms and how to create collateral for the platforms
  • Up-to-date with key digital & industry-related trends
  • Ability to adhere to all material deadlines
  • Graphic design skill for print and web
  • Photographic skills advantageous
  • Skills or knowledge in photography and Videography advantageous
  • Copywriting skill advantageous
