**About the Role:**

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Store Assistant to join our team at Cashbuild. As a Store Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a well-organized store environment, and ensuring accurate merchandise pricing.

**Key Accountabilities:**
  • Ensure comprehensive customer service in-store by assisting customers with their queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintain the sales floor and stock areas in a clean and organized manner, adhering to company standards.
  • Perform shelf price labeling accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify that all merchandise is stocked safely and securely, adhering to company safety protocols.
  • Report any discrepancies or damage to merchandise to the store manager immediately.

**Requirements:**
  • Minimum Grade 10 or NQF 3 and 1 year work-related experience, or Grade 12 without related work experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, as well as the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available.
  • Valid South African ID or work permit.
  • Able to perform basic calculations accurately.
  • Willingsness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
