Hired Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dynamic Event Coordinator and Sales Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our sales support, this role requires a creative individual who can think outside the box and deliver innovative ideas.


Key Responsibilities



  • Marketing and Social Media Management

    • Develop and implement effective social media strategies across platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
    • Create engaging content for social media posts, including graphics, videos, and written content.
    • Monitor social media performance and analytics, adjusting strategies to optimize engagement and reach.
    • Respond to customer inquiries or comments on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.

  • Event Coordination

    • Plan, organize, and execute company events such as product launches, trade shows, client meetings, and promotional events.
    • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, vendor management, invitations, and event schedules.
    • Ensure seamless execution of events and handle any on-the-day issues that may arise.

  • Sales Support and Internal Assistance

    • Assist the sales team by managing sales inquiries, preparing quotes, and following up with potential clients.
    • Support the internal sales process, ensuring the smooth flow of communication between departments and clients.
    • Provide administrative support for sales-related documentation, orders, and updates to the CRM system.

  • Creative Thinking and Innovation

    • Contribute fresh and innovative ideas for marketing campaigns, event concepts, and sales strategies.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and implement creative solutions to enhance brand presence and drive sales.

Requirements



  • Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Event Management, or a related field (a degree or diploma is preferred).
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or sales support.
  • Strong proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop out-of-the-box solutions.
  • Experience in sales support, including generating quotes, is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.

Desired Skills



  • Knowledge of event planning software or tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
  • Graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) will be an added advantage.
  • Strong multitasking skills and a keen eye for detail.
