Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the portfolio of Core Banking assets, making strategic decisions to drive business value and alignment with our enterprise aspirations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our Core Banking capabilities, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of Core Banking projects, driving business outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Ensure the alignment of our Core Banking strategy with our overall business strategy, driving commercial soundness and relevance.
  • Develop and implement a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the Core Banking team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.
  • Ensure the effective management of risk and compliance within the Core Banking team, driving a culture of governance and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our Core Banking technology landscape, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
  • B.Sc Computer Science, B.Com Informatics, Engineering Degrees
  • Preferred - TOGAF, Leading SAFe, Project Management (PMBok/PMI, Prince II etc)
Experience
  • Total number of years of experience:11 years +
  • Management experience as part of the above years:6-7 Years
  • Type of experience:11 Years + Leading a multidisciplinary virtual team to deliver a technical capability to a large corporate organisation.
