About the Role

As a Digital Marketing Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the country's digital strategy and ensuring the effective execution of global digital marketing plans in South Africa.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned digital marketing professional with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and driving business growth through digital channels. They will possess excellent analytical skills, be able to communicate complex ideas simply, and have a deep understanding of digital marketing principles, including Search Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Google Analytics, and CRM tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the country's digital strategy, ensuring alignment with global digital marketing plans.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and COE to develop strategic, integrated campaigns.
  • Tailor messaging, content, and multi-channel strategies to accommodate business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage internal and external platforms effectively.
  • Form partnerships with strategy, content, digital, events, and external partners.
  • Analyze campaign performance using agency tools and incorporate required tools, pixels, and codes to capture customer insights and data.
  • Create digital creatives or creative assets suitable for digital platforms and perform A/B testing of creatives for desired results.
  • Utilize the full marketing mix to plan and execute demand generation marketing campaigns that drive awareness, interest, and consideration.
  • Manage digital and social media strategy, campaigns, programs, and toolkits, deliver necessary marketing analytics, support KPI development, measure and share learnings, and achieve website metrics and Brand digital KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or specialized digital courses.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of digital marketing principles, including Search Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Google Analytics, and CRM tools.
  • Knowledge of HTML, Ecommerce, and technology is preferred.
