As a seasoned Aftersales Service Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional results.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the Technical and Product Support Team and related activities with a direct report to the Aftersales Manager.
You will be responsible for ensuring that customer/engineering projects are delivered on time, to the required quality standard and to customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with experience in similar roles or proven Machinery OEM experience.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Ensuring that customer/engineering projects are delivered on time, to the required quality standard and to customer satisfaction.
- Making informed decisions on technical queries, warranties both internally & from customers.
- Developing a strategy to assist with dealer development specifically with regards to technical capability.
- Maintenance of organisational KPI's on dealer ticket system, 8x8 assist line and warranties.
- Managing the 'War Room' function (telematics control centre) to improve machine availability within the MEA Region.
- Utilising SolidWorks to conceptualise machine attachments and create fabrication drawings.
- Budgeting in line with group procedures to ensure cost saving in areas of responsibility.
The successful candidate will also possess:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
- Project Management Qualification (PMP, CAPM) or equivalent advantageous.
- Engineering Council of South Africa registered engineer.
