About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Technician to join our team at Orion Real Estate Ltd. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems for our residential and commercial properties. Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Ensuring that air conditioning systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards.
  2. Conducting regular inspections and performing routine maintenance checks on existing HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
  3. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in air conditioning systems.
  4. Replacing defective components and ensuring timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  5. Educating customers on proper use and maintenance of their HVAC systems.
  6. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
  7. Collaborating with the Property Management team to address urgent repairs and tenant concerns.
  8. Staying up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in HVAC systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • HVAC certification or a relevant technical qualification in HVAC systems.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of air conditioning systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
  • The ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • A valid driver's license with a reliable motor vehicle and willingness to travel between properties as needed.
