Child Protection & Safeguarding Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child Protection & Safeguarding Specialist to lead our child protection programming, policy influencing & advocacy, capacity building, people development, partnership, representation, studies and evaluations of child protection sector.

This role requires a strong understanding of child protection principles and practices, as well as experience in leading teams and managing projects. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field and significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.

  • Education at Masters level or equivalent in the area Sociology, Social Work, Psychology or equivalent;
  • Relevant experience in a managerial position with NGOs in leading programs and projects;
  • Demonstrated experience in the management of child protection programmatic areas;
  • Thorough knowledge of programming processes, systems and principles, and the ability to provide leadership and support to staff working at community level;
  • In-depth knowledge of child-rights programming;
  • Strong knowledge and experience on Child rights, GBV, Family and Community based Psycho-Social Support, Child protection and safeguarding, child and family social work and Child protection in emergencies.
