Architectural Technologist

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their team in a dynamic architecture firm. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in transforming architectural designs into detailed plans and specifications necessary for the construction process.

• Produce detailed drawings and specifications based on architectural designs, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to gather relevant data for project planning, providing valuable insights to the team.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project feasibility, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
• Assist in project management tasks to ensure timely delivery, prioritizing tasks and managing resources effectively.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, resolving issues and ensuring smooth project execution.
• Attend project meetings and represent the architectural team, presenting ideas and contributing to decision-making.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of project changes, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in design principles and technical skills.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural design or technological roles, showcasing expertise and a track record of success.
• Proficiency in Archicad, SANS, and other design software, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction methods, ensuring compliance and safety standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying ideas and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a positive and productive team culture.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing resources effectively.
• A valid driver's license is necessary for site visits, ensuring safe and efficient travel.
