Fitter and Turner Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fitter and Turner to join our team at Flink Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment, as well as assisting with projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintenance of machinery and related equipment
  • Support with projects work when required
  • Risk inspections and preventative maintenance work
  • Maintaining safety standards, safe work procedures, and legal inspections
  • Preventative maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturers' recommendations and manuals
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or N3
  • Fitter or Fitter and Turner Trade
  • 3-5 years maintenance experience in food product processing industry plant
  • Valid drivers' license and own transport
