Job Description:

As an Operational Accountant with Network Recruitment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with various departments across the business to achieve a controlled and high level of financial awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Report and follow-up of financial checks for business
  • Resolve finance queries
  • Direct involvement of and monitor stock take variance reporting and investigations
  • Communicate anomalies to relevant parties
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings
  • Assist with annual audit and BEE audit process
  • Fixed asset register CAPEX reporting
  • Monthly reporting
  • Primary contact for insurance related support and claims

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in accounting and financial management. You will require:
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in an accounting position
  • Manufacturing industry experience essential
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reports
  • Good oral and written communication skills
