About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics and Supply Chain Operations Manager to lead and optimize our Johannesburg operations. This senior-level role is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels in logistics, inventory management, health & safety, and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supply Chain Management
    Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations: receiving, dispatch, and exports.
    Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and FIFO management.
  2. Distribution & Logistics
    Manage transport operations (own fleet and 3rd party logistics providers).
    Drive on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery targets of 99%.
  3. Projects & Process Optimization
    Lead and implement supply chain and operational improvement projects.
    Work closely with internal stakeholders to align operations with customer requirements.
  4. Budget & Financial Oversight
    Develop and manage annual operational budgets.
    Monitor monthly performance and take corrective action on variances.
  5. Compliance, Safety & Site Management
    Ensure full compliance with EHS policies, ISO standards, and legal regulations.
    Oversee site safety, security, and maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Education: Matric with Maths and Accounting; Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP, Syspro, ClickView, Eco Time, VIP, and Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel).
  3. Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience in warehouse and distribution management within a multinational manufacturing environment.
