Job Overview

To lead and direct the pharmacy team in delivering high standards of pharmaceutical care, ensuring efficient operation of the dispensary and clinic. This role is critical to achieving sales and compliance targets, driving business growth and excellence for Clicks Group Limited.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and control all operational activities of the dispensary, including safe and responsible stock management, shrinkage, general housekeeping and administration, adhering to merchandising, SAPC regulations and company standards.
  • Ensure competent and motivated employees through effective selection, leadership, management and on-going development, building capacity and capability to meet current and future business needs.
  • Schedule staff in line with the labour policy and relevant labour model, ensuring each department is fully and appropriately staffed, including weekly time and attendance and employee records are complete and submitted to HR.
  • Develop and implement customer service initiatives in the dispensary, resulting in a great customer experience, driving customer loyalty and achieving club card participation targets.
  • Promote integration and partnership with the clinic and healthcare aisle, offering customers a comprehensive healthcare solution.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
  • Results-driven and target-oriented, with ability to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Knowledge of SAPC regulations, merchandising and company standards.
  • Sound financial management principles and ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience post community service year.
  • Minimum 1 year people management experience.
  • Registration as Responsible Pharmacist with SAPC.
  • Registered Pharmacist with SAPC.
