Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Systems Analyst to join our team at Armstrong Appointments. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing development and integration functions related to the SAP technology stack.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will ensure that technical solutions conform to SAP Architecture and align with our organization's goals.
  • Functional Specifications will be translated into detailed Technical Specifications by you.
  • You will compile and maintain Technical Specifications as requirements evolve and update them over the lifespan of the solution.
  • You will assist with problem-solving within the SAP development and integration.

You will develop and test SAP systems for our organization.

  • Developments will be done as per Technical Specifications and within agreed timelines by you.
  • You will perform unit, system integration, and user acceptance testing in conjunction with our SAP Functional Analysts and Business.

You will perform maintenance on SAP systems for our organization.

  • System and testing documentation will be updated by you.
  • You will resolve system incidents within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • You will perform code reviews as required.

You will perform System Integration monitoring for our organization.

  • Monitoring measures will be implemented for the system by you.
  • You will handover to our SAP Business Support to monitor interfaces and address any issues.
Essential Requirements
  • You should have 3 years of experience in development.
Desired Experience
  • You should have 5 years of experience in development on SAP Platforms/technologies.
  • You should have 2 years of experience in system analysis.
Desired Education
  • You should hold an ICT degree/diploma.
  • SAP Certification is desirable.
  • A Matric (NQF Level 4) qualification is also required.
Required Job Skills and Knowledge
  • Java Programming is essential.
  • ABAP programming is necessary.
  • HTML5 knowledge is beneficial.
  • SQL skills are required.
  • System Analysis expertise is crucial.
  • XML and Webservices knowledge is advantageous.
  • C# programming skills are desired.
