At Capital Recruit, we are seeking a highly skilled Cash Flow Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in managing and collecting outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment and maintaining accurate records.

About the Role
  • Job Summary:
  • We are looking for a motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills to manage our cash flow and ensure that payments are made on time.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Invoice Processing:
    1. Process and reconcile incoming payments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    2. Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
    3. Monitor and track the aging of outstanding invoices to prevent delays.
  2. Debt Collection:
    1. Contact customers with overdue payments to follow up and request payment in a professional and courteous manner.
    2. Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers to resolve outstanding balances.
    3. Elevate persistent non-paying accounts to management for further action.
  3. Record Keeping:
    1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date debtor records to ensure seamless tracking and monitoring.
    2. Prepare and submit monthly debtor reports to stakeholders.
  4. Customer Service:
    1. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
    2. Foster positive relationships with customers through effective communication and conflict resolution.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a debtors or accounts receivable role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to analyze and present data effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills to resolve complex issues and disputes.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of R10,000 - R12,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Location

This role is based in Cape Town, South Africa, and requires occasional travel to meet with clients and stakeholders.

The estimated salary for this role is R11,500 per month, based on national averages and industry standards.
