Job Description:
This role is based in the Discovery Connect Sales call centre and reports to the sales team leader. The successful individual will be required to conduct Discovery Insure telesales, identifying sales opportunities and co-ordinating own administration.
Key Outputs:
- Communication with clients via phone and email to promote insurance products.
- Maintaining accurate records of all client interactions.
- Achieving quality targets and adhering to service level agreements.
- Attending to general administration tasks to ensure efficient operation of the team.
Personal Attributes and Skills:
- Goal orientated and self-motivated, with ability to perform under pressure.
- Persuasiveness and sound time management skills are essential for this role.
- Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly are also key attributes.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with short-term product knowledge is an advantage, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications.
Qualification & Experience:
- At least 2 years sales experience in an outbound telesales environment is required.
- Tertiary qualification is an advantage, but not necessary.
- NQF5 and RE5 qualification are mandatory.
