We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Sales Team Member to join our team at The Legends Agency. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your skills and knowledge of the timber industry to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with customers, providing them with expert advice on our range of products. You will be responsible for processing transactions accurately, managing stock levels, and maintaining a clean and organized sales area. Your strong communication skills will enable you to effectively handle customer inquiries and provide support to your colleagues when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers, providing product information, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Sales Transactions: Process customer orders, issue invoices, and handle cash or card payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our timber products and be able to confidently explain their features, benefits, and uses to customers.
  • Stock Management: Assist with stock checks, ensure products are well displayed, and maintain a clean and organized sales area.
  • Customer Queries and Follow-up: Handle customer inquiries and follow up on orders or specific product requests as needed.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the timber industry is a must.
  • Matric Certificate: A Matric certificate is required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation, basic numerical skills for processing transactions, and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Personal Attributes: A positive attitude, willingness to learn, professional, friendly, and helpful demeanor, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to handle tasks independently after training.
