Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Sales Professional to join our team at CodeConnect Staffing (Pty) Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the agriculture sector.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building strong client relationships across Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, and North West regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet annual sales targets, leveraging industry knowledge and relationships to drive sales growth.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies for technology solutions, including applications such as Spray, Harvest, Scouting, Asset Management, and Pruning Visibility.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, query resolution, and tailored solution development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client solutions based on specific requirements, staying informed about industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to track competitor activities, pricing, and product development, ensuring the company stays competitive in the market.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and deliver sales reports with detailed variance analysis, providing insights into sales performance and areas for improvement.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and professional workshops, showcasing our technology solutions and expertise in the agriculture sector.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification relevant to sales, business, or agriculture.
- 5+ years of industry sales experience, with at least 3 years in agricultural supply chains.
- Proven track record of closing deals and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with web applications, mobile apps, RFID/barcode scanners, BTLE devices, IOT instruments, and GPS tracking devices.
- Knowledge of custom factory (packhouse) integration equipment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and BRM tools.
