**Job Details**

The Financial Intelligence Centre Coordinator will be responsible for supporting our Compliance team in Centurion in adhering to the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001 (FIC Act) and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement FICA compliance measures in collaboration with the Compliance team.
  • Verify FICA documentation as required.
  • Enhance customer due diligence processes for medium-risk and high-risk clients.
  • Regularly review client transactions to ensure ongoing due diligence.
  • Evaluate client risk ratings based on our Risk Management and Compliance Programme (RMCP).
  • Daily monitoring of bank statements to identify potential cash deposits.
  • Updating internal protocols as necessary.
  • Staying informed about regulatory changes and assessing their impact on our organization.
  • Developing and delivering staff training sessions on compliance topics.
  • Cooperating with the Compliance team as required.
  • Supporting the Head of Legal as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Sound knowledge of the FIC Act and AML regulations.
  • Previous experience in a compliance and AML role.
  • Desirable: Certification in AML or Compliance.
