We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team at The Recruiters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organized individual with a passion for warehouse operations to take on a challenging role and make a real contribution to our business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

This will include managing the warehouse team, implementing operational policies and procedures, and conducting regular inspections to ensure that the warehouse is running smoothly and safely.

In addition, the Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for managing inventory levels, including conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of warehouse activities and ensuring that all safety and emergency policies and procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in managing warehouse operations. They will also have experience with cross-border logistics, imports/exports, duties, and procedures, as well as a valid driver's license and own vehicle.

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 per annum, plus benefits, including a comprehensive health insurance package and a generous superannuation scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the warehouse team, including supervising and motivating staff, and providing coaching and training as needed.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures, and conduct regular inspections to ensure that the warehouse is running smoothly and safely.
  • Manage inventory levels, including conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, stock movements, and shipments.
  • Ensure that all safety and emergency policies and procedures are followed, including conducting regular fire drills and ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained.
  • Manage purchasing and procurement activities, including assessing demand and selecting suppliers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and productivity, including identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing process improvements.
  • Provide regular reports to management on warehouse performance, including inventory levels, stock movements, and shipments.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as logistics or supply chain management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in managing warehouse operations.
  • Experience with cross-border logistics, imports/exports, duties, and procedures.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide coaching and training to staff as needed.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, including identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing process improvements.
