Sales and Operations Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Operations Manager to join our team in East London and the metropolitan area. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving sales and improving collections while ensuring the profitability of our stores.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in retail management, preferably in a senior position in a furniture group or FMCG company. You must also possess excellent management, credit granting, and sales skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned branches to achieve sales and collection targets.
  • Conduct regular branch performance reviews and implement improvement plans.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Branch Managers and Staff.
  • Recruit, select, onboard, induce, manage performance, coach, and discipline employees as needed.
  • Implement and maintain company policies and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 Matric with Mathematics Literacy.
  • Certificate/Diploma in Micro Lending Frontline Service (NQF 4) or equivalent.
  • Certificate/Diploma in Generic Management (NQF 5) or equivalent.
  • Understanding of Credit Granting processes and Basic knowledge of the National Credit Act.
  • At least 5 years experience in managing a team.
  • Min 3 years experience in the Micro Finance industry.
  • Computer Literacy and Valid Driver's License.
  • Strong human relations skills and ability to plan and organize.
