This Material Handler position plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operation of our warehouse and production areas. Key responsibilities include safe material handling, inventory management, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Perform accurate inventory counts, monitor stock levels, and maintain inventory records using computerized systems.
  • Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Achieve safety compliance by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, including aisles and storage spaces free of obstructions.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production and shipping deadlines.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Work experience in injection molding operations and manufacturing an asset.
