Job Overview

The Clicks Group is a leading retail company seeking an HR Officer II to join our team. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining Human Resources initiatives at an operational level, in cooperation with the HR manager.

About the Role

This position plays a critical role in supporting the achievement of our divisional strategy by ensuring the effective attraction, motivation, and retention of core operational talent. Key responsibilities include managing consistent and effective recruitment and selection processes, identifying gaps in HR practices, and coordinating communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection: Assist with end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing to onboarding, and collaborate with department managers to identify hiring needs and define job requirements.
  • HR Administration: Manage the efficient, timeous, and accurate administration and record-keeping of all HR-related information, ensuring high levels of compliance with data analysis and reporting.
  • Industrial Relations: Assist the team with the consistent and effective management of IR issues, in line with company policies and procedures, and according to legislative requirements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum 3-year tertiary qualification in HR Analytics or a related field;
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in Generalist HR and HR Analytics, preferably in a retail environment;
  • Experience using SAP HCM and Microsoft Excel;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to detail and analytical ability.
