Job Requirements

Responsibilities
The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for managing all development phases from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. This includes the management of small design groups and the goal of designing and assisting in the fabrication and assembly of mechanical components of innovation and excellence.

This role requires experienced engineers with 5+ years of experience who will be considered as senior engineers. Previous experience in the military vehicle design environment would be greatly advantageous.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  1. Design Expertise
    Experience with PMBoK (preferred), or similar. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Onshape, NX12 (Unigraphics) preferred or relevant CAD package.
  2. Project Management
    Able to work under pressure. Experience with project management methodologies. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  3. Technical Knowledge
    Keep up to date with new trends in the automotive and military field by reading technical papers and documents. Research new technologies that can be utilized in the business.
  4. Leadership
    Ability to lead and manage small design groups. Experienced engineers with 5+ years of experience will be considered as senior engineers.
