Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Financial Clerk to join our dynamic team at People Dimension. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management
    • Perform supplier reconciliations to ensure accurate payment requests;
    • Ensure production invoices are accurately captured on our financial system on a daily basis;
    • Capture administrative invoices on our financial system on a daily basis;
    • Review expense allocation to ensure accuracy and completeness;
    • Respond to all queries relating to payments;
    • Obtain supporting documentation to load new creditors on our online banking system;
    • Prepare a list of supplier payments for approval and payment;
    • Provide monthly creditors age analysis for review;
    • Allocate payments in our financial system to the correct supplier;
  • Client Management
    • Communicate with customers to collect outstanding payments;
    • Follow up on overdue customer accounts via email and phone;
    • Prepare customer reports and weekly receivables;
    • Perform customer reconciliations;
    • Review customer credit applications;
    • Allocate receipts in our financial system to the correct customer;
  • General Finance
    • Accurately reconcile General Ledger Accounts on a monthly basis;
    • Perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties;
    • Prepare part of Management reports at the end of each month;
    • Additional bookkeeping functions as required by management;

Requirements

  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent;
  • Diploma in Bookkeeping or similar;
  • Minimum two (2) years of full function Creditors and Debtors experience;
  • MS Office Proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Working experience in Quickbooks is advantageous;

  • Proficiency in English;
  • Intermediate level of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint);
  • Presentable with strong Interpersonal communication and listening skills;
  • Self-motivated and pro-active;
  • Deadline driven;
  • Able to work independently with a high degree of responsibility;
  • Logical thinker;

Package and Remuneration
