Job Overview

Facts is seeking a skilled Printing Machine Operator - Gravure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating gravure printing machines efficiently and ensuring the production of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Machine Operation: Operate gravure printing machines in accordance with pre-defined production targets and waste reduction goals.
  2. Quality Control: Produce products that meet specified quality norms and are approved by our quality department.
  3. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve machine-related issues promptly, minimizing downtime and coordinating with the maintenance team as needed.
  4. Maintenance and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of the machine, adhering to industrial, food safety, and personal hygiene regulations in the work area.
  5. Reconciliation: Maintain accurate daily input-output reconciliation records for consumed raw materials and produced printed materials.
  6. Compliance and Discipline: Adhere to plant HR rules for entry and exit procedures, as well as disciplinary actions.
  7. Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Performance Metrics:
  1. Production Efficiency: Achieve actual production levels versus set targets on a daily and monthly basis.
  2. Process Waste Reduction: Minimize actual process waste versus set targets to ensure finished products exceed customer expectations.
  3. Quality Complaints: Monitor and address internal/external quality complaints found in produced products on a daily and monthly basis.
  4. Customer Satisfaction: Meet or exceed external quality complaint and rejection rates within set target norms.
  5. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to personal and industrial safety guidelines, as well as QMS and Food Safety Compliance during machine operation.
  6. Learning and Training: Acquire knowledge and skills related to machine operation under the guidance of an assigned senior machine operator and reporting manager within set timelines.
  7. Teamwork and Communication: Foster good relationships with machine team members and reporting managers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a diploma in Printing, Mechanical, or ITI, with 2-6 years of relevant industry experience. Additionally, you should have knowledge of printing inks, gravure printing, and mechanical operations, as well as basic computer skills and strong communication abilities.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $60,000-$80,000 based on industry standards and location considerations.
