About the Role

The Payroll Supervisor will assume responsibility for all aspects of payroll, including salary processing, tax compliance, and employee entitlements. They will work closely with the Group Payroll Manager to develop and implement effective payroll processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To ensure accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, and statutory deductions in accordance with payroll procedures, company policies, and legislative requirements.
  2. To oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, employment history, and benefit information.
  3. To coordinate and execute reconciliations and audits, as and when required, to ensure payroll accuracy and integrity.
  4. To provide excellent customer service to employees and management, responding promptly to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  5. To lead and manage the payroll team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in payroll administration, preferably with 3-5 years' experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll systems, including SAP Payroll System.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex payroll data and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
