We are seeking a seasoned Senior Front of House Restaurant Manager to lead our front of house operations at Italian Cafe Restaurant in Greenside, Johannesburg.

About the Role
  • With 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, you will possess extensive knowledge of floor management and be able to manage a complete front of house operation.
  • Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be responsible for staff management and development, stock control and inventory management, complaints handling and resolution, and leading a front of house team under pressure.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, and energetic individual with a proven track record of success, you will be well-spoken with exceptional customer relations skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Staff management and development, including training and mentoring front of house staff.
  • Effective stock control and inventory management to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Leading a front of house team and working under pressure to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in a restaurant environment, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Exceptional customer relations skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues.
  • Ambitious and self-motivated individual, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
