Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tax consulting services to clients, including tax planning, tax compliance, and tax dispute resolution.
  • Manage a team of tax professionals, including delegating tasks, providing guidance and support, and ensuring the team meets its performance targets.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, including individual and corporate tax returns, and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate with clients, including providing tax advice, answering tax-related questions, and resolving tax disputes.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and ensure the team is aware of these changes.
Requirements:
  • BCom, LLB, CA (SA), HDip (Tax) or related degrees.
  • Higher qualification in Tax (an advantage).
  • Strong academic background and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and manage a team of tax professionals.
  • Ability to analyze complex tax issues and develop effective tax strategies.
  • Ability to communicate tax advice to clients in a clear and concise manner.
