Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Draftsman to join our team at Robertson and Caine International Yachts. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new products, creating CAD files, and assisting with the manufacturing process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and complete drawings and CNC files for the manufacturing process.
  • Develop 3D CAD parts for the library, ensuring all requirements are met.
  • Program Alpha-cam software for the library, adhering to specifications.
  • Implement CNC programming techniques.
  • Compile technical documentation as delegated by the Manufacturing Engineer.
  • Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and provide feedback on progress.
  • Conduct quality checks during new part prototyping.
  • Create jigs for manufacturing purposes.
  • Load documents and quotes onto Flowcentric.
  • Assist contractors with building requirements and communicate scope of work.
  • Maintain administrative documentation related to manufacturing engineering.
  • Ensure changes are updated on trackers provided by lead engineers.
