Job Title: Master CNC Machinist - Toolmaker & Turner

We are seeking a skilled Master CNC Machinist - Toolmaker & Turner to join our team at HR Genie.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to work with us as a Master CNC Machinist - Toolmaker & Turner. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and operating the CNC Lathe, ensuring that all components manufactured meet the required quality and tolerances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings to plan and complete tasks accurately
  • Program and operate the CNC Lathe for all components manufactured
  • Maintain high-quality standards and adhere to specified tolerances for all tasks assigned
  • Meet project timing requirements and deadlines
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Formal tertiary education: Grade 12 qualification and/or a recognized trade certificate in Toolmaking/Fitting & Turning
  • At least 5 years of experience in machining/tool making environments, with a minimum of 2 years in CNC programming and machining
  • Excellent computer literacy skills and proficiency in programming languages
  • Strong language skills, with fluency in English (required) and Afrikaans (desired)
  • A valid driver's license (Code 8 or higher)
