About the Role

The Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Temperature Screener for Covid-19 to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for screening all visitors, contractors, and employees before entering our property to prevent the spread of infection.

Key Responsibilities

">
  1. ">
  2. Screen all visitors, contractors, and employees for cold, flu, and respiratory symptoms before entry.">
  3. Check temperatures using a no-contact thermometer.">
  4. Record results and submit to the Branch Manager.">
  5. Enforce Personal Protective Equipment at facility entrances.">
  6. Allow or deny entrance into the workplace.">
  7. Maintain a log of employees and visitors who refuse temperature checks or answer questions.">
  8. Comply with safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.">
  9. Participate in COVID-19 training classes.">
  10. Monitor stock levels for masks, thermometer covers, and working thermometers.">

Requirements

">

We are looking for candidates with a Matric certificate (NQF level 4) plus a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or Nursing and Paramedic. Additionally, experience in a Medical healthcare/office/facility and clinical environment, as well as Occupational Health and Safety, will be an advantage. The ability to start immediately and commit to five days a week is essential.
