Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team at Staff Solutions Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs on time.

About the Role
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and detailing equipment based on customer requirements, working closely with senior design engineers to ensure that all projects meet the required specifications.
  • They will also be expected to source and manage suppliers for components used within their designs, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • An additional responsibility will be to oversee project milestones and ensure that all projects are completed on schedule.
Requirements
  • A minimum N6 qualification in a mechanical or engineering-related field is essential, as well as a strong understanding of Autodesk Inventor CAD software.
  • Good computer literacy skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are also required.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, is essential.
