We are seeking a highly skilled Artisan Rigger to join our team at Murray & Roberts Cementation in Limpopo. As an Artisan Rigger, you will be responsible for constructing engineering installations and maintaining engineering structures according to agreed standards.

Responsibilities
  • Construct engineering installations according to agreed standards, procedures, and specifications.
  • Maintain, repair, overhaul, erect, dismantle, and construct engineering structures according to agreed standards and schedules.
  • Maintain hoist ropes, rigging tools, and equipment, lifing facilities, and structures according to standards and procedures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Valid first aid certificate.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Work Experience

We require at least 10 years of mining industry experience and 10 years of trade experience as a Rigger. Advanced knowledge of winder ropes and heavy lifting requirements is preferred.
