Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general administration, filing, and e-Filing maintenance
  • Process client payroll data and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist in drafting financial reports and statements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies
  • Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices

Tax Responsibilities

  • Handle general tax administration, filing, and e-Filing maintenance
  • Assist in preparing and filing various tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts (ITR14/ITR12)
  • Prepare and submit provisional tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts
  • Manage monthly VAT201, EMP201, and UIF submissions
  • Conduct PAYE reconciliations and submissions (EMP501)
  • Perform tax research and analysis to support tax planning initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
  • 1+ years of experience in accounting and tax-related functions
  • Experienced in the following systems: Microsoft Excel / QuickBooks / Sage One / Xero / Zoho Accounting / SimplePay
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax laws
