Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-tier customer service by executing tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct thorough documentation of each task, using real-time reporting whenever possible.
  • Foster strong partnerships with clients, contractors, and building occupants at each site.
  • Guarantee safe working conditions throughout the duration of service visits and resolve any identified hazards expeditiously.
  • Identify unforeseen repair requirements and secure prior consent when applicable.
  • Oversee and manage available supplies, keeping stock levels optimized.
  • File precise timesheets detailing work accomplished.
Requirements:
  • A current, valid Red Seal trade test certificate in Lift Mechanics.
  • NQF Level 4 certification obtained via a four-year apprenticeship program, or successful completion of a diploma/degree in mechanical/electrical engineering after gaining a year's experience under an experienced technician.
  • NQF Level 5 accreditation following twelve months shadowing a registered lift technician.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills combined with basic IT capabilities.
