About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Junior Draughtsman to join our team at MC Technology Staffing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical drawings, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and experience working with Measuring Equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and convert various technical drawings into SolidWorks packages.
  • Schedule assignments and communicate with the CAD department team.
  • Participate in production meetings and ensure drawings meet required specifications.
  • Develop Data Packages and cutting files.
  • Understand and adhere to bending, laser cutting, machining, and welding procedures.
Requirements
  • Matric with Technical Drawings as a subject.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Measuring Equipment such as Tape Measures and Verniers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Diploma or BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • SolidWorks experience, particularly in Sheet Metal & Weldments.
