The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining engineering and a proven track record of contributing to the development and execution of life-of-asset planning. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of asset management strategies that align with operational and financial objectives.

About the Role:

  • Develop and Execute Life-of-Asset Planning Strategies: Create and maintain life-of-asset plans, including scheduling for both open pit and underground operations.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop asset management strategies.
  • Ensure Compliance: Review and implement internal and external regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze Data: Analyze complex data to improve project economics and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mining engineering or a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the mining industry.
  • Proficiency in Deswik.CAD, Deswik.Sched, and Deswik.LHS for long-term scheduling and optimization.
  • Advanced skills in Minemax for strategic scheduling.
  • Expert skill in manipulating geological resource models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
