Job OverviewThis role is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets through effective people management and enforcement of retail disciplines at store level.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Centricity
- Develop a culture that prioritizes customer satisfaction within the store environment.
- Implement a customer service improvement plan based on mystery shopper feedback.
- BUILD strong relationships with internal and external customers.
- Provide coaching and training to staff to enhance their skills.
- Attract and recruit customer-centric store staff.
- Manage employee performance through regular one-on-ones, meaningful IPA's, and completed performance reviews.
- Hold staff accountable through recognition, reward, sanction, and discipline.
- Develop staff through coaching and training sessions.
- Communicate business objectives, policies, and procedures effectively.
- Track daily sales performance of each employee.
- Understand income statements and manage expenses effectively.
- Ensure stock availability meets customer needs.
- Understand and manage in-store controls.
- Maintain housekeeping and visual merchandising standards.
- Deliver trading density targets.
- Achieve basket size targets.
- Optimize salary to sale ratios (staff planning).
