Job Title: Business Process Optimization & Technology Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Optimization & Technology Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the continuous improvement process change required by our 5-year IT roadmap. Key responsibilities will include mapping processes involving ERP and Warehouse Management functions, supporting senior managers in executing system strategies, and documenting standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Mapping: Map all processes involving ERP and Warehouse Management functions to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Strategy Execution: Assist senior managers in executing system strategies to support business objectives.
  • Documentation: Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with business analysts to gather functional and reports requirements for systems implementation projects.
  • Review and Analysis: Review current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement to reduce lead time, improve quality, and reduce risk.
  • Initiative Management: Project manage initiatives as assigned to ensure timely delivery and effective implementation.

Requirements:

  • Education: Relevant degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering.
  • Location: Must currently reside in Cape Town.
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to critically evaluate information and make informed decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain healthy relationships.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, with a strong ability to take responsibility for own development.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactivity: Proactive approach to problem-solving, with a strong ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, with knowledge of Business Intelligence systems an advantage.

Salary: R800,000 - R1,200,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
