Job Title: Master Mechanic Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Mechanic Supervisor to join our team at Telebest.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic opportunity for an exceptional candidate to take on a leadership role in our maintenance department. As a Master Mechanic Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our fleet of Mercedes Benz Trucks, ensuring they are always in top condition and running efficiently.

You will lead a team of mechanics and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of maintenance activities, including scheduling, planning, and execution
  • Leadership and management of a team of mechanics, including performance evaluation and development
  • Collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Maintenance of accurate records and reporting
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance, with a focus on Mercedes Benz Trucks
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid South African EC driver's license
