Key Responsibilities:
  • Merchandise Planning: Assist in creating and implementing merchandise plans based on category insights, historical trends, and future outlooks.
  • Store Analysis: Analyze store profiles, including stock levels, sales blend, and inventory by store grade.
  • In-Season Management: Ensure effective in-season management, including stock analysis, balancing, markdown management, and stock vs. sales performance.
  • Merchandise Mix Planning: Plan and execute merchandise mix for each store, including initial product allocation and reserve management.
  • Assortment Planning: Collaborate with the Brand Manager to finalize seasonal assortment plans and size run books.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor product line pricing and track competitor brand developments.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure adherence to ageing standards and maintain stock turns as per company policy.
  • Margin Negotiations: Manage margin negotiations, orders, stock distribution, and product selection.
  • Sales Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify best-sellers and slow-movers, taking appropriate actions to optimize inventory.
  • Store Visits: Conduct regular store visits and competitor analysis, providing feedback and recommendations to the Brand Manager.
  • Replenishment Management: Address store replenishment needs on a day-to-day basis, ensuring optimal stock levels.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

We're looking for a dynamic individual with strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in financial planning and budget management. If you have a proven track record in managing product assortments, inventory control, and financial planning, and experience in the fashion or footwear industry is highly desirable, we'd love to hear from you
