We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in the City of Cape Town.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the compilation and updating of parts of the Water and Sanitation Integrated Master Plan and its Hydraulic models. They will also evaluate the ability of infrastructure to service developments, assess and process land use management applications, and develop a medium-to long term Capital Requirement schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Master Planning: Assist in the compilation and updating of parts of the Water and Sanitation Integrated Master Plan and its Hydraulic models.
  • Evaluation: Evaluate the ability of infrastructure to service developments, including assessment and processing of land use management applications.
  • Scheduling: Develop a medium-to long term Capital Requirement schedule.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a relevant B degree or National Diploma in Engineering, with 2 – 3 years' relevant experience in the water sector or Engineering planning and hydraulic models. You should also have computer literacy in MS Office Suite and SAP, as well as a valid code B Driver's License.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this role is R550,000 - R700,000 per annum, depending on experience.
