The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, experience in the mining industry, and a strong understanding of SHEQ protocols. A valid EB Driver's license and First Aid Certificate are required.

  • Key responsibilities:
  • Cost containment and high mean time to failure after repairs
  • Competent, motivated, disciplined, and positive team
  • Effective self and team supervision in alignment with MRC values and leadership initiatives

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

  • Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
  • Section 13 Recognised / Equivalent Trade Certificate preferable Artisan Rigger
  • Engineering Foreman Certificate of competence or proof of formal Supervisory training in planning, leading, organising, and control
  • Valid EB Driver's license
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills in English
